BATALEON ASTRO AW BLACK

BATALEON ASTRO AW

What a rubbish name they've given it, it sounds like the villain in a B-movie sci-fi film. Looking properly at these bindings, though, it seems to me that Bataleon has been damned serious: the upper aluminium structure joins a responsive and cushioned base. Your board's responsiveness is brought out at its best; it's the perfect binding for serious landings and high speeds. The highback has great backside support and the straps are top class for comfort, so you can stop complaining about tired legs at the end of the day.

SNOWBOARD BINDING ASTRO AW BATALEON

• ASTRO FW FullWrap Chassi : Designed for the rider looking for the maximum feeling of contact with the board, the 4 anchor points offer the best possible response in edge-to-edge transfers
• ASTRO FW Adjustable Base Size : the chassis can be adjusted to help centre the boot perfectly in the binding and on the board.
• ASTRO FW FullBack : highback made of injected nylon, light and supportive with an intermediate flex for more precise control on the edge
• ASTRO FW Adjustable ForwardLean : easily adjust the highback lean without tools, depending on the feel you're after, more aggressive or more relaxed
• ASTRO FW Highback Rotation : this binding lets you rotate the highback and align it with the board's edge for the most efficient energy transfer possible
• ASTRO FW ToadGrip Heelpad : a rubber insert on the highback gives that extra touch of grip to keep you locked in even in the most borderline situations
• ASTRO FW Infinity Toe Strap : the 3D pattern and the use of a tough material make this toe strap the top for comfort and grip
• ASTRO FW Infinity Anckle Strap : The next-level comfort you were looking for: this pre-curved strap distributes the pressure better at the sides, eliminating points of greater load
• ASTRO FW Bulletproof Buckles : super solid ratchets in die-cast aluminium that will never let you down. Featuring a three-tooth action for super-fast closure.
• ASTRO FW Canted Footpad : to look after your knees as well as possible, the footbed is canted, i.e. inclined, to relieve the stress on the joints as much as possible
• ASTRO FW Dual Density Footpad : the mix of rigid rubber on top and an EVA foam give this footbed maximum comfort and support.
• ASTRO FW TwoStep Toeladder : the option to customise the toe strap's anchor points between two different positions to find the most suitable fit regardless of the boot.
