Una tavola rigida (flex alto) è più reattiva e conferisce una risposta più immediata, sicura e stabile mentre una tavola morbida (flex basso) è più maneggevole e votata all'esecuzione di manovre freestyle. Il flex medio ed equilibrato conferisce un ottimo pop, stabilita' e manovrabilita'.
