These aren't ultra-technical pants for full days in powder (some homegrown riders would argue with that) having a waterproof rating of about 5k but the 100% polyester weave does an excellent job of keeping you dry and warm all day at a pretty good cost. Sizes M-L-XL indicate the length of the leg. If I normally have an L from most brands and want a normal fit I can choose XL Standard or L + 2 Inches, if I want to abound a bit as is coming back into fashion then + 4 Inches, the elastic drawstring waistband saves everything.
