JONES AURORA ECLIPSE BLACK

JONES AURORA

Another missed chance to step out of the mainstream and give a binding a name that isn't "Juliet", "Jade" or "Rose". Girls probably like buying things with feminine names; I'd leave a model called Marco or Andrea on the shelf, but whatever, in the USA they don't worry about these problems, so let's get to the point: a comfortable, simple binding equipped with Skate Tech technology and all the comforts of a high-end binding. The flex is medium/soft and it's excellent for creative freestyle-all-mountain use. It doesn't mind a few well-placed turns at speed, but its daily bread is making you have fun in every condition without putting too much pressure on you, unlike when your mum was shouting at you while you were already crying.

SNOWBOARD BINDING AURORA JONES

• AURORA Comfort Foam Foot Pillow : the footbed made entirely of EVA is comfier than the pillow you sleep on every night and, thanks to its raised structure, stops your foot sliding around during the descents.
• AURORA Hanger 3.0 : the footprint of the base is slightly wider so as to be closer to the board's edges for more precise control and better responsiveness.
• AURORA Progressive Flex Highback : Designed for a precise and playful response. Symmetrical profile of medium width and medium flex for carving, tweaking airs and switch riding
• AURORA Comfort Flex ankle strap : a 3D-moulded strap made to distribute pressure in the best way so as not to create annoying pressure points.
• AURORA 3D Flex Fit 2.5 Toe straps : a toe strap with a minimal, low-profile design that moulds perfectly to the boot. Super durable and responsive material
• AURORA Tool-less strap adjustment : Tool-less adjustment. No screwdriver needed
