JONES FREECARVER 6000S NARROW
Hey rider, here's a quick rundown of everything you need to know about the SNOWBOARD JONES FREECARVER 6000S NARROW.This thing of putting numbers on stuff as if to indicate engine size is a totally American habit – look at me, I have lots of cubic centimetres, I'm a real alpha engine, me me me me... So much so that it's no surprise that even boards have got 3-zero figures to indicate the power of the machine, and even if I don't appreciate the form, you can't deny that with the Freecarver series Jones has pulled out two real gems for lovers of well-made turns. The 6000s version, where S obviously stands for Sport (or Sponge cake, that I don't know), is the more "docile" of the two, with an intermediate-stiff flex and an ultra-light construction that takes its cue from boardercross and freeride boards to give you maximum manoeuvrability on a racing board. Tapered directional, camber and 3D Contour in the nose for guaranteed float and lightning-fast grip.
SNOWBOARD FREECARVER 6000S NARROW JONES
FREECARVER 6000S NARROW, a UNISEX SNOWBOARD by JONES that rips. Base colours may vary at random among those shown in the product image. All boards are sold already laminated and waxed!- FREECARVER 6000S True Camber Profile: a traditional camber slightly revised to offer the usual edge hold and responsiveness of camber without the usual drawbacks. The profile becomes a flat slightly inclined towards the tips, thus allowing the edge to be raised in the points where it usually risks catching the snow. Pop and stability with a softer feel and fluid riding.
- FREECARVER 6000S FSC Power core Core: an all-wood core with triple density together with strips of very tough bamboo to increase pop and strength; the addition of a touch of paulownia lightens the weight.
- FREECARVER 6000S Biax Fiberglass : thanks to the fibreglass positioned at 90 the board gains pop without compromising manoeuvrability and ease in tricks.
- FREECARVER 6000S Sintered 9900 Base: this sintered base is made of carbon and a special polyethylene; this way the board will be really fast but easy to repair thanks to the added polyethylene.
- FREECARVER 6000S Wend Natural Wax : Jones boards are ready to be used straight out of the shop and are waxed in production with WEND natural wax
- FREECARVER 6000S Factory Tuned : All Jones snowboards are de-tuned in the nose and tail, so you can go straight from the shop to the mountain.
- FREECARVER 6000S Forever Flex : Forever Flex is a manufacturing process that helps stabilise a board's flex and rocker profile for its whole life. Our boards come out of the first production stages slightly stiffened and are then "broken in" with specialised machinery that simulates extreme use of the board. By flexing the board's fresh fibres and the epoxy in the factory, the materials settle into their final arrangement as if the board had been used for 20 days. This process helps us reduce production tolerances so that the board you buy has a more precise flex and rocker profile, which will change less as the board is used.

- Shape
DIRECTIONAL
Directional boards have a light or more accentuated directionality, and a calibrated sidecut to favor a more aggressive riding with the preferred foot. The sidecut is therefore asymmetrical, the board in question will be extremely stable and powerful on the slope as well as in the take-off/landing from the most important structures, and will have excellent floatation in powder. The switch sensations are very good, these boards are recommended for users who are looking for conduction performance without sacrificing the possibility of landing in rotation. - Board Camber
TRADITIONAL CAMBER
A classic camber, with contact points on the snow away from the bindings. This camber charges your weight exactly on the contact points with the snow, amplifying the force impressed on the edge. For this reason it is certainly the most precise camber and one that guarantees the best grip. Moreover, being just an arch, it stores the force impressed by your legs and shoots you like an arrow at the slightest hint of ollie. - Gender
This product can be used by both boys and girls. - Flex
MEDIUM FLEX
This is the value that indicates the bending strength of a snowboard. A stiff board (high flex) is more reactive and gives a more immediate, secure and stable response while a soft board (low flex) is more manageable and dedicated to the execution of freestyle maneuvers. - Riding Style
Board for Carving & Freeride use structured, safe and stable on piste and performing freeride off-piste with a sustained flex. - Board Width
PROGRESSIVE
Boards that are wider than a standard but not wide enough to be called wide. Accommodates many boots up to 45 with compact hull. In this category we also point out boards that increase the width according to the size, specifying in the description which size is actually suitable for bulky feet.
