JONES HOWLER WIDE
Hey rider, here's a quick rundown of everything you need to know about the SNOWBOARD JONES HOWLER WIDE.Straight from the most important freeride competitions on the planet, two of the most decorated riders in history shut themselves in the cellar with tinned beans and shoe polish to study the next blade to take into battle, and so good old Victor DLR and Elena Hight, together with the most sophisticated minds at Jones, design the Howler. Tapered directional profile with full camber under the feet, maximum precision and float from the steep couloir to the face with more rocks than anything else, and ultra stability when stomping jumps and tricks. The 155 size weighs around 2.7kg thanks also to the Koroyd technology in the nose, which is like having a wing under your feet ready for take-off, while the sintered 8000 base is super fast. Technical freeride for creative riders.
SNOWBOARD HOWLER WIDE JONES
HOWLER WIDE, a MEN'S SNOWBOARD by JONES that rips. Base colours may vary at random among those shown in the product image. All boards are sold already laminated and waxed!- HOWLER True Camber Profile: a traditional camber slightly revised to offer the usual edge hold and responsiveness of camber without the usual drawbacks. The profile becomes a flat slightly inclined towards the tips, thus allowing the edge to be raised in the points where it usually risks catching the snow. Pop and stability with a softer feel and fluid riding.
- HOWLER Koroyd : a material developed in the aerospace industry. Koroyd is ultra-light and absorbs vibration like no other material. This translates into greater performance in controlling the board.
- HOWLER BComp Carbon Flax Stringer : developed by the Swiss team "BCmp", these inserts combine carbon, extremely responsive, with flax fibres to reduce the environmental impact and better absorb the vibrations coming from the terrain.
- HOWLER FSC Power core Core: an all-wood core with triple density together with strips of very tough bamboo to increase pop and strength; the addition of a touch of paulownia lightens the weight.
- HOWLER Triax Fiberglass : with the best technologies available and the use of fibres laid in three directions, the core has never been so light and responsive.
- HOWLER Sintered 8000 : the high-density polyethylene base, combined with carbon, offers Millennium Falcon performance and excellent wax retention

- Shape
DIRECTIONAL
Directional boards have a light or more accentuated directionality, and a calibrated sidecut to favor a more aggressive riding with the preferred foot. The sidecut is therefore asymmetrical, the board in question will be extremely stable and powerful on the slope as well as in the take-off/landing from the most important structures, and will have excellent floatation in powder. The switch sensations are very good, these boards are recommended for users who are looking for conduction performance without sacrificing the possibility of landing in rotation. - Board Camber
TRADITIONAL CAMBER
A classic camber, with contact points on the snow away from the bindings. This camber charges your weight exactly on the contact points with the snow, amplifying the force impressed on the edge. For this reason it is certainly the most precise camber and one that guarantees the best grip. Moreover, being just an arch, it stores the force impressed by your legs and shoots you like an arrow at the slightest hint of ollie. - Gender
This product is suitable for boys. - Flex
MEDIUM FLEX SUPPORTED
It is the value that indicates the resistance to flex of a snowboard. A stiff board (high flex) is more reactive and gives a more immediate, secure and stable response while a soft board (low flex) is more manageable and dedicated to the execution of freestyle maneuvers. - Riding Style
Board for Carving & Freeride use structured, safe and stable on piste and performing freeride off-piste with a sustained flex. - Board Width
WIDE
Wider than average boards to accommodate boots larger than 44 (290MP).
