K2 EXCAVATOR
Hey rider, here's a quick rundown of everything you need to know about the SNOWBOARD K2 EXCAVATOR.I really like things with EXTRA in the name, like breakfast cereals – maybe only cereals; well, never mind, we're not here to talk about incredible breakfasts but about boards, and the Extravision, forged in Mount Doom, is a little gem for resort-powder riding. The profile is a slightly set-back camber while the shape is a directional twin with only a centimetre and a half of set-back. Under your feet it behaves like a sporty station wagon whose only failing is that it can't skid uphill. Designed for riders who have skill and want a high-performance do-it-all focused on riding and fresh snow. A sintered base and biaxial fibreglass reinforced with carbon are the engine of this board that has nothing to envy in a space rocket.
SNOWBOARD EXCAVATOR K2
EXCAVATOR, a MEN'S SNOWBOARD by K2 that rips. Base colours may vary at random among those shown in the product image. All boards are sold already laminated and waxed!- EXTRAVISION Directional Combination Camber : the combination camber brings together the best of both worlds, using a classic camber zone in the middle to give the board the necessary precision and pop, while the rocker zones in the nose and tail make the board forgiving and increase float in fresh snow. The directional version has a wider rocker zone in the nose to favour float.
- EXTRAVISION Rhythm Core : a core designed to help the mechanics and riding style of girls
- EXTRAVISION ICG Carbon Glass : add carbon stringers to any board to give it pop, responsiveness and stability. The fibreglass completes the ultra-light and durable sandwich.
- EXTRAVISION Sintered 4000 : thanks to its very high quality PTex, the sintered 4000 base is fast and durable.

- Shape
DIRECTIONAL
Directional boards have a light or more accentuated directionality, and a calibrated sidecut to favor a more aggressive riding with the preferred foot. The sidecut is therefore asymmetrical, the board in question will be extremely stable and powerful on the slope as well as in the take-off/landing from the most important structures, and will have excellent floatation in powder. The switch sensations are very good, these boards are recommended for users who are looking for conduction performance without sacrificing the possibility of landing in rotation. - Board Camber
DIRECTIONAL CAMBER
In this category we find hybrid cambers that highlight the directionality of the board. Some typical examples are combinations where the tip part is more rockered (flotation in powder and intuitiveness in turns) compared to central camber or flat zones and then return to rocker zones in the tail smaller than the tip ones. Guaranteed buoyancy! - Gender
This product is suitable for boys. - Flex
MEDIUM FLEX
This is the value that indicates the bending strength of a snowboard. A stiff board (high flex) is more reactive and gives a more immediate, secure and stable response while a soft board (low flex) is more manageable and dedicated to the execution of freestyle maneuvers. - Riding Style
Board for Carving & Freeride use structured, safe and stable on piste and performing freeride off-piste with a sustained flex. - Board Width
PROGRESSIVE
Boards that are wider than a standard but not wide enough to be called wide. Accommodates many boots up to 45 with compact hull. In this category we also point out boards that increase the width according to the size, specifying in the description which size is actually suitable for bulky feet.
