.K2's Gateway is a kind of human-priced, crisis-friendly Custom all-mountain

board.

Essentially a lightweight, multi-purpose, performance all-mountain board that won't force you to sell your body or, at worst, parts of it. The deck is the super-tested All-Terrain flat between the bindings and rockered toward the tips, i.e., a truly workable compromise designed to provide greater permissiveness, better on-piste grip and excellent float in powder. Hybritech technology thins the tips making them softer and more mellow, thus promoting, in combo with the biaxial laminates and ICG Glass core, press, spin and speed. An easy and highly versatile board designed to plow through all kinds of terrain in total cotrol: not surprisingly, it recently won Transworld's Good Wood award reserved for the best all-mountain 'woods' around.

DIRECTIONAL TWIN
The Twin Like boards have a slight directionality thanks to the setback of the bushings, and a sidecut centered with respect to the rider's position. They have properties very similar to the twin, with very good sensations also in switch. They are stable at speed and have good float, allowing you to ride with your lead foot without disadvantaging the other foot too much.
