Riding styles for freeride and freestyle skis

Freestyle: Freestyle skiing is almost always twin, with a fairly soft and forgiving flex. Some pipe and big air models may be more responsive and sustained, with excellent grip on the piste. Allmountain: The allmountain ski is directional, with a hint of rocker at the tip to aid flotation and a well-balanced flex. The real joker on the mountain, capable of big turns without breaking legs. Freeride: The freeride ski has a considerable width to increase flotation. Often directional and with large rocker areas at the ends. Skialp: The ideal ski mountaineering ski is light, not too wide to facilitate the ascent but with remarkable floatation and stability.
