Snowboard profiles
Profiles (or camber) are one of the elements of board construction.
Remember that they do not influence the type of use of the board (there are camber parkboards and flat speed boards) but must be considered in conjunction with construction, shape and more to provide guidance.
Camber
The preloaded profile offers pop, grip and a lively character to the board
Rocker
The reverse profile is extremely intuitive and facilitating
Flat
A good middle ground between ease and
grip
Hybrid profiles
They soften the behaviour of the main profile. If the underfoot
area is camber it will be a responsive and stable profile with better handling qualities than a pure camber, if the underfoot area is rocker it will be an easy and manoeuvrable profile with better handling qualities than a pure rocker.
