Snowboard profiles

Profiles (or camber) are one of the elements of board construction. Remember that they do not influence the type of use of the board (there are camber parkboards and flat speed boards) but must be considered in conjunction with construction, shape and more to provide guidance. Camber The preloaded profile offers pop, grip and a lively character to the board Rocker The reverse profile is extremely intuitive and facilitating Flat A good middle ground between ease and grip Hybrid profiles They soften the behaviour of the main profile. If the underfoot area is camber it will be a responsive and stable profile with better handling qualities than a pure camber, if the underfoot area is rocker it will be an easy and manoeuvrable profile with better handling qualities than a pure rocker.
