Traditional laces offer many anchor points to adjust the grip, but are the slowest to close. Fast lace systems or lace pullers have on their side convenience, speed, tidiness. The BOA system uses a thread passage similar to the lace pullers, managing the cable with a wheel to tension the lacing. BOA boots or better lace pullers have two or more fastening points to better customise the fit.
