Waterproofness in snowboard jackets

Depending on the conditions you expect, you can choose different levels of waterproofness. Jackets with low waterproof ratings are usually light and inexpensive, perfect if you are aiming for park sessions or a few late-season runs. Intermediate waterproofs, between 10k and 20k, are the ideal range for truly complete jackets. Going above 20k we deal with really top products, for heavy-duty use.
