This thing Ride does of naming boards after internet culture cracks me up, but I won't be satisfied until they release the D*ckpic and rename the Kink the Kink Shaming. Take note, Ride people. The Moderator is a tapered-directional freeride-carve medium-flex, which translated means we've got a resort board to have fun with in powder and lay down big carves without wrecking our knee ligaments after half a day. Basically a do-it-all board, ideal for riders looking for precision and simplicity under their feet, stability and speed, without giving up the odd nice raid into the park for a couple of jumps.

• MODERATOR Directional Extra Camber Profile: by moving the camber towards the rear binding and increasing the nose rocker, the board gains excellent float, seasoned with on-piste precision and responsiveness.
• MODERATOR Pre-Cured Glass : this fibreglass goes through a special process that improves the glass-to-resin ratio, creating a consistent flex along the whole length for the best level of stability and control.
• MODERATOR Linear Quadratic Sidecut: the Linear Quadratic directional sidecut starts with a quadratic radius from the nose to the rear binding and finishes with a more linear sidecut all the way to the tail. Maximum support and precision without giving up too much manoeuvrability.
• MODERATOR Hybrid Glass Inserts: by placing triaxial fibreglass in the nose and biaxial in the tail, the board gets excellent stability, perfectly balancing torsional stiffness and ease of manoeuvre.
