Rome's top all-mountain freestyle binding implements FASE technology, which is like putting mayonnaise on a schnitzel: intermediate flex for creative riding with the entry speed and simplicity of this new solution designed to keep you bent over as little as possible (less than two seconds to strap into one of these bindings). Pro grip toe strap and Omniflex ankle strap and you don't even feel like you're in it, but at the first turn, bam, the binding is there and pushing. Highback with 15% fibreglass for good responsiveness without sacrificing room for manoeuvre – a bomb of a binding that is now at its PRIME. How does it work? The toe strap stays still while the ankle one, thanks to a very long ladder strap, never "unhooks" completely, making getting in and out easy without having to reposition the ratchet on the ladder every time; the highback tilts outwards by a few degrees to allow entry and locks vertically thanks to a "paddle" system that the heel knocks into on the way in – very simple but extremely functional and solid. Closing only the ankle strap, which is also inside a guide, is a split-second operation that evolves this binding from traditional to new-generation traditional.
