UNION EXPLORER BLACK

UNION EXPLORER

One day a guy gets up, cuts a board in half and invents a contraption that makes you work hard and takes you far from the hut's pasta, the après-ski and the hot drinks. Half the economists wrote his idea off as a failure, but incredibly the splitboard is here and stronger than before, and Union with its Explorer has added another piece to all this. Light and precise, the Explorer makes its simple attachment its strong point. Built to give you a traditional-binding feeling and a natural, fun ride, the Explorer will be your faithful companion on your misanthropic outings.

SNOWBOARD BINDING EXPLORER UNION

• EXPLORER Thermoformed EVA : the EVA cushions the vibrations and lets you perceive a more uniform flex from your board
• EXPLORER Extruded 3D Heelcup Features: the aluminium heelcup stiffens the binding's structure, making the riding extremely precise and sending your sensitivity through the roof.
• EXPLORER Duraflex ST Base: by using a composite designed specifically for very low temperatures you get a precise and indestructible base.
• EXPLORER Magnesium 3.0 Ratchet: even lighter and more precise. Than anything.
• EXPLORER Split Flad : a very quick switch between climbing and snowboard modes – this will let you have more time for riding
• EXPLORER Grade 8.8 Features: inserts and hardware use the toughest steel on the market so you're never left stranded.
• EXPLORER Aluminum Ratchet: light, tough and precise, the aluminium ratchets are a luxury accessory that in the Union range is considered the baseline for any binding.
• EXPLORER Non-Stick Gas Pedal Footbed: a new insulating layer applied over the footbeds stops ice from building up and changing the comfort during the day.
