The declared protection is 15000 mm / 15000 gm, useful when wet snow, wind and temperature swings alternate through the day. The declared materials work on outer protection, while the layered construction helps keep a balance between waterproofing, breathability and mobility. The taped seams, where present, increase the seal in the most exposed areas; the Zip Tech system, where declared, lets you join jacket and pants to reduce snow getting in.
